The Newman Center The Newman Center

Welcome to the Newman Center at Holland House - the official home for Elon CCM! Named in honor of John Henry Cardinal Newman, the Newman Centers, are residence and Catholic ministry centers at non-Catholic universities throughout the world. The Holland House is a 4,000-square-foot brick building that once served as the official residence of two Elon presidents, and is now home to CCM. Please make it your own "home away from home," and join us here for Wednesday dinners, small groups, or just to hang out between classes.

Downstairs the Newman Center boasts a full kitchen and dining room where we have our student dinners. There is also a living room where students can watch football and basketball games with friends or have small groups. The executive board room, complete with rolling chairs and a long oval table, is used bi-weekly for student leadership meetings. The game room has a foosball table and a whole wall of board games.

The Newman Center is also home to four students in the upstairs bedrooms. The CCM Peer Ministry Coordinator also resides at Newman.

Students can have access to the house via Phoenix ID card from 8 am to 10 pm. If you do not yet have swipe access, please contact or with your Datatel number.
