All proceeds from this recording will benefit Christmas Cheer of Alamance County. This local organization provides gifts for underprivileged children that otherwise would have nothing on Christmas morning. Christmas Cheer also provides food and means for warmth for needy families of all faiths during the cold winter months. Last year, 2109 children, 978 families, and 181 elderly Alamance County residents were served.

Elon University’s Project Pericles made possible the time staff needed for this project through its Service Sabbatical Program. This program allows for employees to be relieved of their university duties to work for a community organization or to complete a project. The production of this recording is an example of such a sabbatical.

Christmas Cheer: From Alamance County Musicians is an extraordinarily special project for our community. This project gives us the opportunity to celebrate and embrace the musical talents from our county while contributing to those who need help.

Our goal is to have support from many Alamance County Merchants, Employers and Community members!
