What is SALSA?

SALSA (Salúd Latina, Salúd de Alamance) a five year project, grant funded by the Kate B. Reynolds Charitable Trust Fund. The Project is designed to reduce chronic illness in the Hispanic population of Alamance County, North Carolina. The overall goal of this project is to provide the Hispanic Community with improved access to services designed to improve nutritional behavior and physical activity.
  What Does SALSA Do?:

SALSA provides health screenings, educational programs, physical activity programs, and other medical services in various locations in Alamance County.

Who Are We?

Numerous organizations are involved in the SALSA Project including Elon University, Alamance Regional Medical Center (ARMC), Alamance Community College (ACC) and El Centro La Comunidad.

How Much Does it Cost?

All of our programs and services are completely free and totally confidential.
