What is Zipcar?

A car sharing company, offering self-service, on-demand cars by the hour or day.

Zipcar at Elon

Elon University students, faculty, and staff can join Zipcar for $35/year. You will get 24/7 access to Zipcars parked right on campus! Simply reserve online, let yourself in with your Zipcard, and drive. Low hourly and daily rates include gas, insurance, and 180 miles per day. To join visit www.zipcar.com/elon.   You will receive $35 in free driving to use your first month. 

You only need to be 18+ to join. Members age 18-20 can use the Zipcars parked on the Elon campus. Members age 21+ also have access to thousands of Zipcars in other locations.

Refer a friend and get $50 in driving credit!

Once you join, motivate your friends to open their own account. For every friend that is approved as a member, you will receive $50 in driving credit. You can split it $25/$25, give it all away, or keep it for yourself.  But remember, you must refer them online before they join. To get started visit www.zipcar.com/members/refer.
