- After arriving to the Elon Arts West parking lot, the group of 26 visitors of ranging ages were led directly to Harden Dining Hall (due to the rain cancellation of the Phoenix Phanatic tailgate), where they enjoyed an unlimited buffet
- From there each child was given a Gameday Program to glance at before during and after the game - compliments of Matt Eviston, Assistant Director of Athletics for Sports Information and Media Relations
- Then group was led to Rhodes Stadium and shown to their seats in the front rows of section 103 where they were able to watch the players warming up
- At 2:30 those visitors who were interested followed Gray Hunter, Coordinator for Game Operations and Facilities, onto McKinnon field and were able to indulge in the entrance of The Fire of the Carolinas – Elon's marching band, the dance team, and the cheerleaders in their opening performance
- Right before Elon's football players ran onto the field the group was lead back up to their seats for some game action
- After the game concluded, the group had the opportunity to sit in The Woods Center to watch the Press Conference
- Special thanks to Coach Pete Lembo's and Scott Riddle (#16 So. QB), Corey Weaver (#10 Sr. LB), and Joshua Jones (#50 RFr. LB) who greeted the children to an autograph session preceding the press conference conclusion. Each student was given Elon cardstock for the session and some even had tee-shirts, sweatshirts, and Elon footballs autographed.
- On the walk back to the parking lot the students of the Masonic Home for Children received their final words from their Day with the Phoenix host who reminded them that there is nothing stopping them from continuing their education in college and achieve their dreams
