Men's Basketball Practice
Boys & Girls Club of Burlington
- This event was the first of a two-part trip offered to about 15 kids from the club. The point of attending the men's basketball practice was so the kids could get to know the players they were going to be coming back that Thursday to watch play against Georgia Southern.
- This group of almost 15 kids was led directly to Alumni Gym after their arrival
- There, they watched the last 45 minutes of the basketball practice as they looked through the programs they were provided by the coaching staff.
- After the team finished, the group was led down to the court to have a formal introduction to the players, each providing their name, position, year, and major.
- The entire team then participated in a group autograph session for the kids.
- As the players started to head off to their locker room, the kids were able to have a shoot-around.
- Sophomore forward Adam Constantine and sophomore manager Tyler Diamond allowed two of the kids from the Boys and Girls Club to team up with them in a two-on-two match up until it was time for the kids to head back.

Elon vs. Georgia Southern Men's Basketball Game
Boys & Girls Club of Burlington
- Unfortunately, because Alamance County schools closed from inclement weather, the Boys and Girls Club was also closed. This meant that the club's bus could no longer be used to transport the kids to campus, so only 5 kids from the club ended up making it out to the game with their chaperones.
- Nevertheless, the 5 that were able to attend were offered numerous opportunities to meet student-athletes from many Phoenix teams.
- The women's basketball team as well as some members of the softball team offered their time to come and sit with the kids during the game.
- During halftime, some of the kids were able to go down and meet and take pictures with members of the football team and cheerleading squad.
- Even though the Phoenix lost to Georgia Southern, the kids had a great time and were looking forward to their next trip.
