A large part of our funding as Periclean Scholars comes from grants our class has applied for. We just recently recieved the Funds for Excellence grant here at Elon. Our class also won a financial prize by taking second place in the annual "Elevator Speech" contest. In addition, we have many on-going fundraising efforts. We will be accepting extra meal plans, selling Indian jewelry and sponsoring various events at local restaurants (Namaste and Sandy's) for which we will recieve a portion of the night's profits.

However, our projects are limited by financial constraints.We are so grateful for any donation no matter how small. If you are interested in making a contribution to the Periclean Scholars Class of 2012's efforts in India, there are two easy ways to donate:

Option 1: Check

Please make a check out to "Elon University" with "Periclean Scholars 2012" written in the memo line. You may attach a letter indicating specifically where you would like to see your donation go towards. The check can be mailed to the following address:

Option 2: Online

Please click here to be redirected to the online donation site off the "Ever Elon" Campaign page.

Once you reach the above page, select the "Single/one time gift" button. Enter the donation amount and select the option "other" under "I wish my funds to be applied to." In the text box, enter Periclean Scholars 2012. Then follow the rest of the prompts.
