Natalie Lampert Natalie Lampert (‘11), of Stuttgart, Germany and a few other places, gradu- ated magna cum laude with a B.A. in International Studies and Creative Writ- ing. Being a Periclean Scholar was her most defining Elon experience, and she is proud to be part of a program that has such an impact on people near and far. From the beginning of her time as a 2011 Periclean Scholar, she worked to ensure members of her class would travel to Sri Lanka in January 2011. She helped plan and implement the Leaders in Environmental Advocacy Forum (LEAF) - a wildly successful summit held in Colombo - and worked closely with members of the U.S. Embassy in Sri Lanka in helping class projects come to fruition. At Elon, she studied and conducted research in London and Sri Lanka (winter terms) and in Ghana (semester); completed internships in Austria and Germany; and enjoyed traveling and writing her way through four wonderful years of college. She is currently working as a staff member for Duke University’s TIP Leadership Institute, and will be returning to Sri Lanka in the fall with two other 2011 Periclean Scholars to continue working on class projects.
