Elizabeth Leman Elizabeth Leman is a senior from Ashburn, VA. She is a History & International Studies double major, with a dual concentration in Europe and Asia and a minor in German Studies. She is an Honors Fellow and Lumen Scholar working on a thesis project studying the developments in international law from the Nuremberg and Rwanda tribunals (following the genocides during World War II and in 1994, respectively), and applying those lessons to the war crimes situation in Sri Lanka today. She studied abroad in Heidelberg, Germany in the spring of 2010 and loves photography, coffee, and COFFEE!!! She cannot wait to go to Sri Lanka this January with the class.
