:: Belk goes green
Elon is going green-crazy, but the school failed to tell you about the greenest option on campus: Duplex Printing. In Belk Library, the printer called “Belkcom3_Duplex” allows you to print on both sides of the paper, reducing your paper usage by 50 percent.
This tree-hugging printer allows you to print six pages for the same price of three (free), which totally saves you money. The catch is, once you print more than three double-sided pages, it starts charging you the same as if you were to print that many signal sided pages. Here are three reasons to duplex print: 1. You’re doing your part to go green and going green is sexy. 2. Duplex printing is like the Toyota Prius of printers, very friendly of you. 3. You’re cutting out the workload of staples by 50 percent, give those guys a break. Student: Grant Walsh, Class of ’08 - 11/14/07
