What happened to the days of college kids eating pizza and Ramen noodles?

As I stroll up to the Colonnades dining hall, I take notice of the red carpet and the bell man opening the doors for me. I am utterly confused and question, "where am I?"

If we want to talk about bursting the bubble, we definitely need to take a look at Elon’s latest “eight-star” dining facility. As if Burlington isn’t over-populated with a myriad of dining choices already, I feel like I don’t deserve to eat this food in college.

Nightmare stories about college dining hall food abound and I can’t help but question why I deserve such treatment.

Our parents are certainly paying the price for such food that tickles our taste buds, but they will be in shock when they witness the high end cuisine.

I definitely am going to soak up this great treatment and food for now, but come graduation time, my appetite sure is going to go through withdrawal.

Point taken, swipe now, soak it up, save later when mommy and daddy aren’t paying for high class meals.
