Letter: Glutton Bowl competitor responds The following letter was written in response to Jessica Vitak’s opinion piece "FOX crosses line in programming with new ‘reality’ shows," in the Feb. 28 edition of The Pendulum. To the Editor: My name is Dave O’Karma. I was a Fox Glutton Bowl competitor. I am 46 years old and 6 feet 2 inches and 185 pounds. I have competed in swimming, track, basketball, football and baseball. Competitive eating is by far the hardest "sport" I have ever competed in.
