Book criminals arrested on campus, charged
with larceny Staff Report Lester Brimmage, 53, and his wife, Barbara, 52, were arrested Sept. 29 on counts of felony larceny after stealing textbooks from Elon professors’ offices. According to Chuck Gantos, director of campus safety and police, the two would enter offices posing as book buyers and then steal books from the offices later with the intention of reselling them. Gantos said campus police were working with police from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro to catch the two criminals. |
