Preregistration Advisor Approval
Elon Ontrack

Elon OnTrack is a secure site that allows faculty members to electronically grant approval for advisees to preregister. To grant approval you must have an active username and password for OnTrack. If you do not have a username and password or if you have forgotten your password, please contact the computer support help desk at ext. 5200, to receive or reset your login information.

Step One: Access the website

The website can be accessed from www.elon.edu E-Net Elon OnTrack or from the web address http://ontrack.elon.edu

Log in using your username and password. Click the My Advisees option under Faculty Quick Links.

Step Two: Granting Advisor Approval

Click Submit to view your current advisees. Use the drop down box next to your advisee's name to select the advisor approval option. Click Submit. You will receive notification on your screen that the process is complete. Use the home tab to grant approval for your next advisee. To verify your process the word "Approved" appears next to the student name.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

STUDENTS WILL NOT BE ABLE TO PREREGISTER IF YOU HAVE NOT GRANTED THEM APPROVAL. Students will only be able to preregister for courses during their access time if they have been approved by an advisor.

LOG OUT WHEN YOU ARE FINISHED. Please be sure you log out each time you finish using OnTrack to ensure that no one will misuse the access you have been given. To log out click the "Log Out" tab.
