This is the website for the 11th Annual Fall Meeting of the North Carolina Section of the American Association of Physics TeachersThe meeting takes place Friday afternoon through Saturday, September 29-30, 2006, on the campus of Elon University. Zone 5 meeting of the Society of Physics Students takes place in conjunction with the NCS-AAPT meeting. Please see the "SPS Meeting" link for more information. In addition the North Carolina Astronomers' Meeting takes place on Saturday September 30, with some sessions overlapping with the NCS-AAPT/SPS Meeting. Pre-registraion is now closed. On site registration is still available. The Meeting program has been updated with Plenary Sessions and Contributed Papers. Please see the "Program" link for details. On-line abstract submission for papers closed September 15. Poster abstract submission closed September 24. Student lodging/travel support: need based support is available. Please see the SPS Meeting link. Priority given to applications received by September 14 2006. Internet access at the meeting : for laptop users wireless internet access is available on campus. Computers in Belk Library can be used by conference participants. Door prizes: special drawing for high school teachers, two-year college and technical school instructors.
