Call for papers and abstract submission (below)On-line abstract submission for papers closed September 15. Poster abstract submission closed September 24. Contributed papers will be offered as 12 minute presentations followed by 3 minute Q&A, or as posters no larger than 4'x4'. A computer, data projector, overhead projector and screen will be available for paper presentations. Posters will be displayed for the duration of the meeting and the presenters are requested to attend both poster sessions. When submitting your abstract please indicate your preference of talk or poster, and whether you would be willing to present your work in poster form (in case of large number of abstracts). Students are encouraged to present at the meeting (both in poster and paper format). One Saturday afternoon parallel session is tentatively designated for student presentations. Students are asked to limit submissions to one paper or poster presentation per participant, although co-authorship on multiple presentations is possible. Abstracts for papers and posters (up to100 words) should be submitted on-line, below. Abstracts may be submitted by members of the NCS-AAPT or by non-members, provided the paper/poster is sponsored by a NCS-AAPT member and includes a footnote with the statement: "Sponsored by (member's name)". You will receive an email confirming the abstract submission. Topics of parallel sessions are yet to be determined and may include K-12 physics pedagogy, college level physics pedagogy, technology use in classroom and laboratory, and student projects and research. A detailed schedule will be published after the abstracts submission deadline is passed and presenters will be notified of the time of their presentations.
