Call for Papers – Pfeiffer University Colloquium

“Banking on the Future: Exploring Microfinance as Service”

The Francis Center for Servant Leadership at Pfeiffer University is sponsoring this colloquium on September 29, 2009 as part of the university's Campus Week of Dialogue to explore the principles, methods, opportunities and best practices in microfinance and their link with the philosophy of servant leadership.

They welcome both theoretical and empirical papers from scholars and practitioners in all areas of microfinance and servant leadership, as well as proposals for other presentations and best practices. Submissions on all types of microfinance issues are encouraged including, but not limited to, MFIs and securitization, microfinance and sustainable development, the role of technology in microfinance, and microfinance's effect on a wide range of social and economic development activities. Selections will be made by a committee of Pfeiffer faculty and administrators. 

Publication in the Colloquium Proceedings is free to selected participants.  You can publish either a 200 word abstract, a 5 page version of your paper or a full paper. All submissions must be in MS Word and formatted according to our publication guidelines.
