Current Issue - September 2007 Internship Opportunities Transforming Communities Semester in Washington DC NEW! The Transforming Communities Program is currently seeking interested students for either the fall or the spring semester. These internships involve community-based learning focusing on small grassroots nonprofits and study of the nonprofit sector in general. This year interns will also conduct residential surveys for the District of Columbia Office of Planning on retail needs in a variety of communities in DC. If a student attends an affiliated member institution, they must be nominated by the Washington Semester Program representative at their college.
