Education Placement

In order to qualify as an appropriate site placement for the NC-ACTS! program, a K-12 public school must meet at least one of the following categories. 

• Title I status
• Free and Reduced Lunch percentages (greater than or equal to 50%)
• Student mobility percentages (greater than or equal to 40%)
• Minority student percentages (greater than or equal to 50%)
• State of North Carolina ABC’s of Public Education program (low performing rating)
• Student drop-out rates (greater than 5%)

Members may also qualify separately from the site placement if they are focusing their service in at least one of the following specific academic areas:

• Special Education
• ESL/Bilingual Education
