NC Campus Compact Service-Learning Conference

NAME CHANGE!!!!

NC Campus Compact is pleased to announce that starting in 2009, the annual Service-Learning Conference will be called Pathways to Achieving Civic Engagement (P.A.C.E.) While we believe that service-learning is a critical pedagogy that assists faculty in integrating academic learning with civic practice, we acknowledge that it is just one pathway for connecting the campus with the community to create the "engaged campus."  In recent years the conference themes and topics have expanded beyond service-learning to include such topics as community-based research, philanthropy and campus-community partnership development. We believe this new name allows for broader inclusion and more accurately reflects the conference intent and content.

This annual conference provides participants with valuable information and skills they can utilize in their service-learning and civic engagement work.
