2008 Institute Highlights
On February 12, 2008, 125 faculty, staff, students and community parnters attended the 2008 Institute on “Community Partners as
Co-Educators.” The day began with a rousing plenary by Dr. Kenneth Reardon of Cornell University. Dr. Tania Mitchell, Stanford University, followed with an engaging workshop on "Campus and Community Partners: Building Capacity to be Reflective, Engaged Co-Educators."

After lunch participants attended two sets of workshops facilitated by faculty,staff, students and community partners from campuses in North Carolina and Virginia. During the Closing Session Dr. Reardon and Dr. Mitchell highlighted key principles and learning from the day.
