Chika Kusakawa University of North Carolina - Pembroke Undergraduate: Elon University Major: Biology Minor: Psychology What I am most looking forward to: Being able to provide students with service and leadership opportunities for personal development. I want them to be able to better themselves through various involvements in Pembroke and use that knowledge to empower others in the global society. Personally, I am hoping to gain professional experience in the field of higher education to prepare for graduate school in the field of student affairs.
Something you should know about me: I heard about this program my senior year of college and realized it was exactly what I was interested in. I am very self motivated and love the college atmosphere. I think that there is so much knowledge and potentional in college students that could make a difference in this world. I am very interested in enviornmental conservation since I love being outdoors.
