80 students, faculty, and staff gathered at Mount Union College in Alliance, OH to volunteer in honor of Dr. King.
875 students from Southwestern Oklahoma State University volunteered at 20 projects wearing matching black long sleeve t-shirts which say on the front: MLK "The Dream Continues Week" Remember *Celebrate* Act.

With 57% of the vote or 6,818 votes cast out of 11,922 nationwide, Bucknell University is the 2009 winner of the MLK Technology Challenge Contest. They beat out 5 outstanding finalists: Appalachian State University, Kansas State University, Miami University, University of South Dakota and Virginia Tech.
