House is a serene and quiet guesthouse featuring beautiful 1880’s original wood floors, beaded board walls, eclectic vintage furniture, cotton linens and all the ingredients to enjoy comfort, history and natural beauty. The Guest House is located in historic Glencoe Mill Village, located on the banks of the Haw River. Glencoe is an exquisitely restored Southern textile mill village and is home to the Textile Heritage Museum. Glencoe's section of the Haw River Trail is also a site on the North Carolina Birding Trail.
The Lodge House has two sleeping rooms, one with a queen size bed and one with two twin size beds and one bath with clawfoot tub and shower. The Lodge House also has a full kitchen including dishwasher and microwave.
Located only a few yards from Glencoe Paddle Access, the Lodge House is a convenient place to rest at the end of a long day on the Haw River, and to get an early start on paddling in the morning. The Lodge House offers special services to HRT users including:
* A 10% discount for guests visiting the Haw River Trail.
* Shuttle service to Haw River Paddle Trail Accesses may be arranged upon request.
* Canoe/kayak storage on the premises.
