Campus Dining Services

 

 

Faculty members who wish to eat any of their meals in the campus restaurants are encouraged to do so. Harden Dining Hall and upstairs McEwen Dining Hall are all-you-care-to-eat facilities with a fixed price to be paid upon entering. All other facilities (Octagon Cafe, Danieley, downstairs McEwen, Freshens and the Acorn Coffee Shop) are a-la-carte restaurants. Faculty members are welcome to purchase meal plans or open Phoenix Card accounts for convenience and cost savings. Faculty should call (278)-5333 if they have any questions.

Arrangements for special events, committee meetings or other occasions, on or off-campus, which may require food and/or beverage service must be made with the Campus Dining Catering department. Event details should be scheduled at least five working days in advance. The catering department may be reached at (278)-5330.

CAMPUS DINING OPTIONS

Cantina Roble
Cantina Roble, located next door to the Acorn Coffee Shop opened in March of 2002. This restaurant features American fare with a distinctive Southwestern kick. Menu items range from soups and salads to sandwiches, seafood, chicken and steaks. During the school year, the restaurant is open from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 a.m., serving lunch, dinner and late night meals. Take-out is available for lunch and dinner and may be ordered by calling the restaurant at 278-5343. Cantina Roble accepts Cash, Visa, MasterCard, Phoenix Cash, Food Dollars, Meal Plan Dollars and Community Dollars. No personal checks accepted. Gift certificates are available upon request.

Harden Dining Hall
Elon’s 450-seat state-of-the-art residential restaurant features a sunny patio with a picturesque view of Lake Mary Nell and the northwest corner of campus. Also home of Aramark’s newest concept, Real Food on Campus (RFoC). RFoC at Harden refreshes the traditional all-you-can-eat dining program with new menu solutions and attractive merchandising in a fun environment.

At Harden Dining Hall, you will find more made-to-order menu options and can watch as your food is prepared, allowing you to get exactly what you want, the way that you want it. The menu offers students, faculty, and staff more variety and a larger selection of vegetarian entrees. Some of the menu options include creating your own stir fry at the salad bar, fresh baked breads and soups made daily, rotisserie chicken, turkey, and ribs, hot deli sandwiches, individual casseroles, Belgian waffles served throughout the day, and an array of delicious desserts.

Upstairs McEwen
This all-you-care-to-eat residential restaurant tempts you before you even walk in the door. At the top of the stairs, the aroma of hot sautéed pastas, authentic Asian stir-fry, or our daily special at Center Stage captures your senses and pulls you in. Once inside, you have the difficult task of deciding what to eat. Everything is prepared, cooked and served before your eyes. What a feast!

Downstairs McEwen
The answer to a busy schedule! Stop by in the morning before class for a Grab N'Go breakfast sandwich and Starbucks Coffee or pick up a deli sandwich or hot meal for lunch at the Easy Goes station. Downstairs McEwen also offers a wide variety of grocery items to meet your needs!

Danieley
Danieley Center Commons is in walking distance from the Danieley apartments offering a convenient dining experience for those working on this side of campus. The menu includes Cranberry Farms, a homemade and rotisserie entrée station, Delicatessen, sizzling Grill Station and a wide assortment of fresh baked goods. A selection of snacks, candies, bottled beverages and groceries are available.

Octagon Cafe
Join your friends in the beautiful octagon shaped glass dining atrium and enjoy selections such as Chick-Fil-A, Pan Geos Wraps and Pastas, Kettle Classics soups, Grille Works burgers and sandwiches, Béne Pizza-with delivery anywhere on campus,
Ben n' Jerry's ice cream and much, much more!

Acorn Coffee Shop
Located across the street from campus in the Williamson Avenue shops is the Acorn Coffee Shop. The menu includes favorites such as Starbucks Coffees, a Montagues deli, salads, fresh squeezed drinks, smoothies, and a wide selection of fresh -baked muffins, pastries and breads. The Acorn Coffee shop is the perfect place to relax after class. Truly a cyber-café, The Acorn Coffee Shop features two computers with Internet access available for you to use free of charge during business hours.

Freshens
Need a quick fix for your sweet tooth? Freshens can take care of that! Offering custom blended, whole fruit, Smoothies in 22 flavors including Elon's signature smoothie, the Phoenix Power Punch. Or try Freshens micro-batch scoop ice cream, fat free frozen yogurt, fresh-baked gourmet pretzels in a variety of flavors and much more!
