Standards Division

This division is responsible for assuring two things; the reliability and consistency of the labeling of agricultural products, the testing of motor fuels for compliance with stated regulations, and the regulation of LP-Gas and anhydrous ammonia installations. The later two responsibilities are what connect this division with state water issues. These issues relate to monitoring the release of certain substances into the environment and assuring that these substances were properly made and used as to least affect the surrounding environment. These substances can affect water when release and therefore are a concern to in maintaining the water quality of the state.
