This division looks at product quality of fertilizer and seed. It is in control of the implementation and regulation of plant pest laws. This division’s primary relation to water issues is the regulation of fertilizer. Excess nutrients, etc. created by fertilizer runoff can greatly effect the ground and surface water of the area in which it was used.
