Pollution Information

The quality of water affects both aquatic and human communities. Unhealthy water systems impose great risks on the lives of those using these water resource for drinking or recreation purposes. Through the entrance of excessive quanities of pollutants waters become unsafe and unfit for life. These pollutants either enter water systems through what is known as point source or nonpoint source pollution.
