and Elon 101 classes with other Elon College Fellows, these students will have the opportunity to be part of a close-knit and challenging Arts and Sciences community. A teaching assistant (an upperclass Elon College Fellow), a Head Resident and Elon College faculty will act as resources and mentors for Fellows living in one of Elon’s finest residence halls, the Danieley Center.

The Danieley Center Flats are one of Elon’s excellent housing options on campus. Additionally, the Danieley Commons houses an exercise facility and is close to the Colonnades Dining facility. The Fellows flat will have a new study space and student engagement spaces.  Building N is the newest of our flat buildings and is also the closest to the exercise facility and dining hall.  These facilities make Danieley Center the ideal place for the Elon College Fellows Living-Learning Community.

The Elon College Fellows Learning Community offers a challenging and supportive environment for Elon College Fellows. Through interactions with Elon College faculty and students, dynamic Fellows programs,  and  Global Studies,

Other outcomes of Elon Living-Learning Communities include: Faculty describe students as more engaged in class, more willing to confront each other on differences of opinion. More intellectual/ scholarly climates in the halls—students talk about classes and intellectual topics more and help each other more with assignments. Residence Life staff report better social environments where students damage less, eat together more, watch less TV and talk with each other more.
