Walk-in Faculty, staff, and students needing technology assistance can visit the Front Desk of Belk Library, Student Technology Center (Belk 116), and/or Academic Technology Lab (Belk 115) to receive help from an elite student. The elite Program works collaboratively with Instructional Design & Development to provide immediate walk-in help.

In-office (Techies on Tour) The elite students are available to visit faculty and staff offices to provide support. To request help, call x5000 or x5018 or email us at elite@elon.edu. Depending on our staffing, an elite student may be available to assist you immediately.

Technology Mentor and Projects
- Faculty and staff interested in having a technology mentor to learn software or receive help on a technology project can work one-on-one with an elite Faculty and Staff Support Consultant. An elite Consultant mentors a faculty or staff member by providing hands-on assistance and support. The one-on-one mentoring environment allows learning to be self-paced, flexible, supportive, and more attuned to the faculty or staff member’s specific needs. The elite Consultants work closely with Instructional Design & Development to ensure faculty receive the necessary aid in designing their project to be successful in an instructional environment.
- Students and student organizations interested in having a technology mentor to learn software or to receive help on a technology project (ex. organizational or personal website) can work one-on-one with an elite Student Support Consultant. The Consultant will teach the student how to create and maintain their own project. The elite Consultant mentors the student by providing hands-on assistance and support.

Workshops and Training* The elite Program offers technology training to Elon students in the form of regularly planned workshops and training sessions requested by faculty and staff for their students. The training options are as follows:
- Regularly planned workshops (targeted to students)
- In-class, walk-around technology support
- Out-of-class technology support in Belk Library
- Tailored, in-class or out-of-class training is offered by Instructional Design and Development. Please contact them at x5000 to make a request.
Students who take advantage of elite workshops and other technology resources on campus will be more successful in class, more marketable when job searching, and will have greater opportunities upon graduation.
