Professional Development by Request

This component of the Developing Leaders @ Elon program will be by individual request only and will be funded by a special budget for individual professional development. These requests will require the support of the appropriate Vice President. Some of the potential applications of this funding will be to support:

• Individual Developmental Needs
• Staff Sabbaticals
• Participation in Project Pericles
• Professional Conferences and Seminars Grants for program development. An employee could be granted travel funds and release time to do research on a particular topic and write a proposal to implement a "best practices" program.
