Welcome to Colonnades Literary & Art Journal's Website!
Colonnades is the annual literary and art journal of Elon University. Colonnades features works of fiction, poetry, nonfiction, and art that speak volumes of beauty, inspiration, and truth to their audience. Each issue of Colonnades also features a theme that highlights the overarching conversation of the pieces within that issue.
Colonnades first came off the press in 1937. Since then, Colonnades has had 77 years of excellence, with consistent praise for its professional delivery of the finest creative efforts the university as to offer, as well as for its relevance outside of the creative writing community at Elon University.
In 2010, Issue 61: Public Spaces won a Packemaker Award, presented by the Associated Collegiate Press for excellence in student journalism. The following year, Issue 62: The Physics of Want was nominated for a Pacemaker Award.
We'd love to hear from you!
