College Democrats is an organization that promotes the ideals of the Democratic Party.

 

Elon has its own branch of the national organization:
Elon College Democrats meet on Monday nights at 7:30pm. We usually meet in Gray Pavilion, Room 201.  

During the 2005-2006 school year, Elon College Democrats participated in many events including those which promoted the parties ideals as well as numerous social functions.

• Raid on Student Aid- an informational campaign on the legislation impacting student loans

• Earthfest-presented information on the Democratic platform on the environment

• Guest Speaker Tony McEwen, president of YDNC, addressed College Democrats in September
