Catholic Campus Ministries is an Elon University organization. We are a community
of people open to the power of the Spirit and striving to live the
Gospel of Jesus in our modern world as members of the Catholic Church.
We believe that faith gives life, and sharing faith gives life its
meaning. We
invite Catholics and those interested in the Roman Catholic Church
to join us in living and celebrating a life grounded in faith, nurtured
by hope, and sustained by love.
- We
offer praise and thanks to God as we gather for the celebration
of Sunday Eucharist.
- We
make our faith our own by our common prayer, our study of the
Bible, and our formation in faith.
- We
celebrate the gift of each other in the friendships we share and
the time we spend together.
- We
seek out Christ in service to those in need.
- We
are here to support one another in our joys and in our struggles,
to strengthen one another in our hopes and fears, and to love
one another as Christ loves us all.
We gather
each Sunday evening at the Elon Community Church,
corner of Williamson and Haggard Avenues, across from the BP Station
for Masses at 6:00PM and 9:00PM. There are monthly home-cooked Sunday
night suppers after the 6PM Mass which allows us to share a meal
and grow together as a community of love; there are also monthly leadership
meetings for which all are invited. We gather each Wednesday for
Wednesday Night Catholic at 7:45PM for Rosary and
8:00PM for Mass in Holt Chapel (South Campus).
Weekly programming follows at 8:30PM on Wednesdays. Please check the calendar
for all our events.
Tax-deductible donations are gladly accepted from parents, alumni
& friends payable to: CCM.
