New Member Process
Once you make the decision to join Alpha Chi Omega, you will be welcomed into our chapter during a time called the new member period. This process is an opportunity for you to continue to get to know the sisters and other new members, to learn more about the traditions and heritage of Alpha Chi Omega, and to enter into the bonds of sisterhood. The new member process is intended to promote the development of positive relationships, not to encourage embarrassing or unpleasant situations. You can expect to make a fairly substantial time commitment to the new member process, but participating in activities could make your new member period one of the best semesters of your time at Elon University!
