The most irresponsible environmental president in the history of the United States has just signed a forest management policy that will save our forest? Not likely. The Bush administration has once again put the health of our environment at risk. This time he has given the responsibility of managing the national forest to the lumber industry, an industry which would like nothing better than the ability to harvest the last of the old growth forest in the West. The following article explores the new management plan an how it will affect out national forest.
