Welcome to the inaugural issue of Arcturus, Elon's only online student magazine of ideas, information and communication. This site and all the information contained within was created and researched by students in ENG 318, Scientific and Technical Writing. In this issue, you will read about a variety of topics, ranging from ecology to particle physics to sleep studies of adolescents.

Our Leading Light features renowned scientist E.O. Wilson. We were fortunate to have the privelege to reprint his "Life is a Narrative" from "The Best American Science and Nature Writing."
