Arabic and Middle Eastern Studies is a new, exciting initiative at Elon. Elon's current course offerings are being expanded with new classes in language, society, art, communications, literature, history, philosophy, political science, and religious studies. Some courses are taught in Arabic and others are in English.

An interdisciplinary minor in Middle Eastern Studies is in the works, slated to be offered as early as 2011.
