for spring semester at Elon by looking in the "Undergraduate Academic Calendar", found in On-Track under "Campus Calendars".
Grades for NAC&U Exchange students will not be offered before the end of Elon’s semester to allow for graduation on the home campus.
Elon’s Experiential Learning focus provides a rich backdrop for learning through service.* Whether in a classroom service-learning course, on a spring break service trip, participating in the community-service club or residing in a living-learning service community (on a space-available basis), NAC&U Exchange Students will uncover their values and their priorities while working with Elon students to improve the lives of others.
Previous Elon student service experiences have included courses such as Violence in Families, Strategic Writing, Educational Psychology and Business, and service learning opportunities over spring break having included service trips to Mississippi for Katrina Relief work, the Dominican Republic to build houses and Honduras to work with street children. Students should plan to enroll in three or four courses during the spring semester (each course awards four hours of credit).
