1.     Orientation to Elon Culture for New Faculty,
Staff, and Students

To preserve a sense of community, Elon must create opportunities for new employees to learn about the history and traditions of the institution.    Approaches to welcoming new members should be flexible enough to reach large groups entering Elon at one time and people entering individually at all other times of the year.    Orientation to the Elon culture should make information available to all employees, including those who are not proficient in English and who work on all three employment shifts.
